Fun additions for us are projects like adding a patio cover to your outdoor space so you can enjoy more time outside as our weather in Oregon changes. Or just adding more space to your existing home for the growth of your family. They can be challenging because you have to make the new construction match and flow with the original motif of the house. This is done by properly designing the roof lines which is the most difficult because of the different aspects like, making sure water does not pool anywhere and get trapped etc. The wall lines are also important in order to make sure that the home interior flows and functions in an efficient manner. To do this you need to use materials that are consistent throughout to achieve continuity. When an addition is done, you should think it was all a part of the original structure.
